Evan Johnson - Max Evan has been performing on stage since the age of 7, when he played Tiny Tim in the Garbeau's Dinner Theater production of A Christmas Carol. Since then, he's been steadily active in theater. Evan just recently moved to Sacramento from El Dorado County, where he Assistant Directed Rumplestiltskin for Imagination Theater. Other projects while living in "the sticks": co-hosting a public access entertainment news program and writing and driecting the annual 4-H Drama Club productions. Under the direction of Paul Tomei at Studio 81, Evan got the chance to play a wide-spectrum of roles including ORESTES in Sophocles' Electra , BERGER in Hair, and GRANDPA in You Can't Take it With You. In 2000, Evan attended California State Summer School for the Arts (CSSSA), the CalArts summer program, and majored in Theater. This year Evan wrote a One-Act play entitled Yes, Peter Loves Me that was staged for City Theater's 29 1/2 Hour Playwriting Festival. Onstage, Evan was most recently seen as CHRIS in the world-premier production of Trolling with The Lambda Players. He is so excited to be a part of this cast, great thanks to James Ofsink and all of those involved. |
